2.7.02 i'm getting a wee bit worried about my future at ngee ann. mr tan's audiotech tutorial was so filled of audio jargon that the entire class of 20 were all nodding our blank heads rather sheepishly, in regular intervals, to make up for our tutor's massive enthusiasm which never seems to fade. mr tan's i-do-hope-you-understand-what-i'm-saying-else-i'd-have-to-explain-it-all-over-again-and-do-this-cheesy-smile-once-more trademark smile (often complimented with a thumb-up) is something that'll stick in our minds for quite a while.. some year 2 students reckon he smokes pot every morning before coming to school.the only guy who probably understood at least 80% of what he was saying was nauwroz, who already makes a living revolved around film + sound. his only area of worry is of course writcomm, and hence brings his cousins' primary 4-6 assessment books wherever he goes :P following 2 straining hours of staring at the OHP, we finally laid our hands on the consoles and innumerable dials, knobs and switches. richard regrets not having brought his trance CDs to mess around with, and had to make do with someone else's nirvana - nevermind album this time around. next week he'd fill the campus with muzak from MoS bangkok :-/ joined richard for lunch who was seated with his primary school friend kelvin, plus this other gal who has done shoots with singapore fhm. and some other mag ads. met alfred kok at the busstop on the way out. he's doing logistics. putting this info here just for my own refernce :P ah yesh - saw a tag heuer promotion area in the middle of bugis junction. guess what i discovered! steam!! to some of you at least.. 
(senna's range of watches! too bad i cannae afford one right now :( i guess school, and ultimately penilessness, is the better cure for spendthriftiness at the moment. oh well... tomorrow will be a steam day. 3 periods of photography! let's hope nauwroz brings his digiSLR and drives mr. wander up the wall :D p.s.: wound from previous tooth extraction still bleeding.. can taste some rotting flesh when i stick my tongue in too. *sigh* 0 Comments: |
