6.7.02 Thank Goodness It's Saturday!this week has been a rather long and daunting one. and that was merely an orientation week, a lick on the shit's surface; a slight shave of the balls. the class had some sort of informal gathering yesterday following webcg (web design etc..) class for the entire morning. went down to SIM next door to have a taste of university-inspired food. it was a 2-hour break, hence enough time to satisfy any bulimic person's cravings. we didn't walk into 'megabites' because it seemed so marche-ish and therefore expensive :P most of the gals settled for $6.50 (pfft!) jap food, price mostly affected by this very savoury-looking salmon slapped atop a dome of rice. and soup tastier than danny's wanton soup. other items on the table were claypot rice, chicken rice, bak kut teh, chai peng etc. etc. my teeth were in an unhappy mood still, so i had to flood my ricebowl with bak kut teh soup before torturing them with piggy thighs caught inbetween. proceeded with a 2nd serving of duck rice. SIM food is cheap + good siah! $2 for the duck, that makes a total of $6 for my lunch *plus* drink! everyone was looking at me, then the washrooms, whenever we chanced upon toilets along the way to LT20. for your info, my dragonfruit has done its job of, err, turd regulation. IS is a WASTE OF TIME!!!!!!!! everyone in class had to endure a 2-hour long lecture conducted by someone who's probably been talking about IS since birth. then a select few of us, i.e. anna, jessie, mak, tristan, danny + i were to rot our right brains with a tutor by the first name of 'kaya'. the group of us were so fugging jaded that some 30-minutes were spent taking senseless pics from my palm :P ("so ar, you all ar, will become ar, quite creative ar, after looking at this nice beam of light ar, on the screen...") (tristan + mak working their right hemispheres for the first time in the entire session) expecting a wonderfully masochistic week 2 in time to come. writcomm's already flinging the shite - mr chan's sent us an email with an 400-word assignment due this MONDAY, asking us to state our opinions of this quotation: "Our doubt is our passion. Our passion is our task. The rest is the madness of art" -Henry James siao liao lah. 0 Comments: |
