here's wishing a very happy teachers' day to whoever's had attempted to squeeze things into my narrow stream of thought (inhale):
mdm lee [probably a great-grannie now], ms june teo [class A grannie], mr tee [golfing grandad], mr allen cheng [godfather of retro], mdm lan [terror music teacher], ms alice chua [head for ministry of 1.6km runs], mrs cheng [still in ai tong?], mr chan kai yin [pei chun's longstanding emcee for any event imaginable], mdm yap li nah [who lives a block away], mdm y.y. teo [still in holy innocents'?], mr teng [show me the money], ms florence ling [piano teacher who made me cry lots], mr yea guo ming [no yea, no band]
ms tan lye hua [rare angel admist maris stella], ms lam sok mun [err.. chinese equivalent of previous], ms puah mui kiang [aaaaah!!], ms chong [supermodel-turned-teacher], ms kang [whose endless wardrobe amazes all], mr ho [happy retirement!], mr denis koh [my hair now longer than all your hair combined, sir], mr wilbur wong [you still owe me my trophy], mr edmund goy [gargoy, creature of the night], mr de hamel [mental portugese tart], ms kwong [you *had* to leave home econs in '00 :P], mr chua tian song [shui dou ke zuo de dao mah!], mr ong cheehong ["pervert ong" caller],
and last but not least - ms kang seok jen. and yer darling khinny too - miss you all pretty much.
that's all that i can remember for now. too bad i cannae credit people like dr rain week, patsy wong or MC chinnyboo.. you guys have to organise a lecturers' day of your own i guess. kidding :)
they say teachers whom we hate most, we'd remember better. now we know...
happy teachers' day once again. especially to those whom i left out.
cheers!
