31.8.02 didn't do much today.. we (unfortunately) had a rather boring webCG tutorial from morning till noon. my group inclusive of mak, angie + ranz have decided to do a website on cosmetics for the website assignment.believe it or not? neither do i :-\ lured into ana's mystic castle colloquially known as 'west mall'. i swear, i've got a *lot* more to know about anything in the west. where in the world is jurong point? went for the sake of trying to find out whatever had been the source of ana's terror mood swings. realised that it really is difficult for her to leave BK for some other workplace - people get emotionally attached pretty adhesively over time. especially when it's been most part of a year. also learnt that i don't like to post remotely personal issues that i'm dealing with at the moment - blurification is now officially known as a satire HQ of big brother's life :) went cathay photo to help find a suitable digicam for me basketball mate (no, i ackshully don't play basketball.. go figure..) jianhua. we decided upon the pretty neat nikon coolpix 2500 over the canon A40, olympus 2040z and every fujifilm digicam available for sale [hint: fuji = only good for provia film!]. fook me, this cam really is "bourgeois" [- Lim, Justin]! i wish i could ever fit my digicam's lens barrel into a pocket without being misinterpreted as a modern-day cheekopek :P computer technology was a pain in the arse - now it's sweeping the camera industry and it's making me feel mighty old. i sorta feel the epileptic fit which my parents go through whenever confronted with a microsoft® keyboard instead of an underwood® typewriter. tomorrow - will be meeting up with my aunties + uncles from NTUC where i used to sell yeo's new year drinks, then have jianhua's digicam finally procured, then proceed to documentary photography. i just realised the 'A' on my shutter dial means 'auto'.. wheee! laziness, here i come! :) cheers. p.s.: sony-ericsson's new range of fones to reach SG in 2 mths' time. according to an insider. must hold tight to me moola lest i waste a few hundred quid on an overpriced nokia 6510.. 0 Comments: |
